I was given the additional duty of caring for the protective gear, and went thru a week long bugs, gas & nukes series of classes in Korea back in '75. A classroom presentation cannot convey the immensity of a nuke explosion.
It wasn't until I watched "Radio Bikini" in the early 90s that it kinda sunk in. It is the story of the 4th & 5th nukes ever exploded. Quite the tale.
