It's something we need to address sooner rather than later. The VA can prescribe all sorts of "legal" drugs that get Veterans hooked on opioids while a man with prostrate cancer is in violation of a law when he's in another state. It just ain't right!

SSG(P) (Join to see) I don't think the Army needs to get with the times as much as they need to separate Medical from Recreational use. My personal feeling it that I am against its recreational use completely. I am completely in agreement with its medical use when the doctor and patient are in agreement and it is monitored it is a great thing.

My brother who pasted away from Agent Orange would have greatly benefited from its use. I have a brother-in-law who is paralyzed from the waist down whose does suffer and it his quality of life is assisted by its use.

Dave, I agree with you on this issue. I have seen case studies on the medical use of marijuana, it doesn't always work, but in so many cases it does. If we have a way of treating people without the use of opiods ot other dangerous drugs, let's get behind it.

Ummm how am I tagged to something I never read or commented. But since I am here. The Army has standards and standards of care. Be careful of the choices. Regardless if it may be a better option.
