That is a whole lot of bad juju.
As a former intelligence guy, I saw a LOT of overclassification. Classifying stuff simply because it was collected by an asset or appeared in an Intel report. I have seen basic Wikipedia facts - "Baghdad is the capital of Iraq and has a population of approximately X" marked as SECRET. Others things classified because it was embarrassing, not because there was any real national security at stake (aside from losing ally support or domestic support due to our own reprehensible actions). But I also saw a LOT of stuff that was classified for very good reason.
This stuff definitely appears to fall into the latter category. There simply I no good reason to leak this, aside from wanting to hurt the US. None.
I hope whoever did it is found and spends the rest of their life in prison.

Agreed. The amount of damage this could cause to allied relations deserves the harshest of penalties.
