SN Greg Wright - Sounds like they are pretty nimble for being so big. Are they meant to fight other ships or just loft missiles?

CSM Richard StCyr - They can definitely fight other ships. 5" guns, torpedos, depth charges etc. And said missiles.

SN Greg Wright - They can actually run the 1/4 in reverse and beat a Tyco, I have done it and proved that in reverse your rudders don't work well except to slow you down.

CSM Richard StCyr - "This ship is built to fight, you had better know how" ADM Arleigh Burke. They are hands down the best class ever built, multi mission with the best SONARs, RADARs, SH-60Rs, Phalanx, Harpoon, torpedos, etc... able to fight across the whole spectrum of Naval Warfare. In addition they are three time more survivable then a Tyco, with Collective Protection System for CBRD and the ability to quickly secure large sections of the ship to prevent the spread of flooding and fire. If a Tyco got hit in Yemen like the USS Cole it would have been a total loss.
