In every battle (and we are in a battle) you must choose your fights. Fight the ones you can win and avoid the ones that you can't. Also, we must learn our lessons from the ones we have lost, then leave the field to the victor. Yes, I know the Democrats don't play this way, but that is their problem, not ours. The GOP has lost the House, but retained the Senate and the White House. Thus, all the Dems can do with the House is strut and bluster, but they have no real power other than to stop the Wall. That's about it. The more important battle still rages in our schools. We have to engage that one and turn it around. The House can be won in just two short years. The schools will take longer, a lot longer. A generation at least. I have a very hopeful story to tell on that quarter but it must wait for another day. I am gathering photos and permissions to use them so that you can share in a wonderful event that I attended on Veteran's Day. A tribute organized and staged by six 11-year old boys. Indoctrination, it seems, can be resisted...

This article starts off with a lie: Clinton won both the popular vote and the electoral college vote. 1992 45 million vs 39 million vs 20 million, with 370 electoral votes. 1996 by an even larger margin.
Second, I do not agree with the SCOTUS decision that stated political spending by corporation is "free speech" so in my opinion your headline is incorrect.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Math is nonpartisan and when you say the "article starts off with a lie", just what are you saying about the author? Not that I care; just pointing out your challenge was based on your own inability to accept basic math. Clinton TWICE did not win the popular vote.

SN (Join to see) - Neither of that is true. I did not say "you" were incorrect, I said the article started off with a lie.
Yes, Clinton won the popular vote! He received MORE popular votes than either of his opponents. Did he get a majority of all the votes? No. But he got more than each of the others. You are playing semantics.

Look at your paragraph and you're blaming me for semantics?
This is why I decline invitations to be on cable news discussions because you can't debate with people who aren't intellectually honest.
We're done.

SN (Join to see) - I will apologize for one thing. Until now I did not realize this was your web site.
So, I will rephrase my comments:
In my opinion, the lead is incorrect and the allegation that Clinton did not win the popular vote was a matter of interpretation.
