Hitler once confided to a close adjutant about Freisler: "Don't you think this guy is taking things a little too far with these trials". True story and documented in history. So above video clip is not entirely accurate. Hitler was uneasy about Freisler's treatment of respected past war heros in front of the camera and feared there could be a backlash............he wasn't opposed to the abuse only worried about his own hyde if things were taken too far in the court room with the disrespect. Hitler never did more than comment on it though.

Roland's death was the best part of his life. Killed by falling masonry after the USAF bombed his court room.
