I just watched an impossible engineering article about her construction. When you consider the USS America will have almost the same capabilities it still does not match up to a Nimitz or Ford class supercarrier. But, it is good to see our number 1 ally increasing its capabilities to help us protect the freedom of the seas.

Yes, they can still relieve us when we are short aircraft carriers and they could put one aircraft carrier on station even if it only has the partial capability of one of our own task forces.

LTC (Join to see) - agreed the brits had a carrier with us in Kosovo. They are great allies and we work together on almost everything. One of my best friends in Corpus was the British exchange officer for EOD. Great guy and absolute professional officer.
