I just came in from putting down my 11 year old blood hound, (with three alzheimer's finds and one lost child find to his credit) and composed myself. Then opened RP to this post. Composure gone.

Maj John Bell - I feel you Major. I had to put down my St. Bernard a few years back. I bawled like a baby, and couldn't sleep for a week because he always slept on his pillow next to the bed. I'm sorry for your loss, that's hard.
