Such a massive scale of brutal murders shows just how deranged and depraved these Nazi Criminals were. To inflict this type of horror on any human being is so disturbing and never should be forgotten !

And there are still people to this day that deny it ever happened, just like Eisenhower said take plenty of pictures, for the world will always deny this.

One of the members of our American Legion Post 208, Millis, MA Edwin Waite who was actually there in WWII for the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp also saw that firsthand. Waite was a PFC then and a member of the 66th Infantry Division under Patton's 3rd Army. He was a BAR ( Browning automatic weapon ) man in His unit. I had actually seen My fellow post member on Television talking about that experience. I just happened to turn to that channel and there He was for a pretty extensive interview. He was an Infantry troop in Europe during WWII . He also related that when General Patton saw some of those thing He went behind a vehicle so not many would see Him and threw up after seeing those horrible scenes in person. The picture shown here is of My friend and fellow Logion Member Edwin Waite whom I di talk with about that after seeing Him on TV. I've only seen pictures and film and hope I never have to see anything like that in person ever ! That is something that should never be forgotten !
I may add that on the 2nd of December 2017 Edwin "Bud" Waite in a ceremony in Boston was presented the Legion d'honneur, the French Medal of Honor for His WWII service. The presentation was made by Valery Freland, the French Council General of Boston. Waite had participated in combat operations in France, Germany and Austria.
