Holocaust survivor Gena Turgel dies at 95

She survived the Horror.RIP. Idiots like the Iranian Regime and Racists like KKK Idiot David Duke deny the Holocaust.Sad that another living legend has passed away.

Outside of NYC, Kansas City, MO, has one of the largest population centres of Jews in America. My high school was easily 40% Jewish. As a result, an equally large number of my classmates’ parents were Holocaust survivors. To this day, I cannot begin to recite the stories I heard straight from their mouths. Except one. This incredible man, father of a best friend who very recently died, recalled an experience he personally had with Josef Mengele, Doctor Death himself. Chillingly horrific could not touch his retelling of that period of time in Auschwitz. I was so honoured to know and live among all those wonderful people.
