Very nice Veterans web site. I signed up for the newsletter! I see you included Balad as one of your references. I was at Balad for about 30 minutes. I flew with the forward elements of the ID ARNG that was not part of the main body driving up from Kuwait so we flew in by C-130 and out by Chinook at night to I believe a base east called Warhorse.
