Nope.
What we need is to teach our young our own political and financial systems. From Grade 1 through Grade 12. And make it a mandatory part of higher education as well. I am NOT talking micro/macro economics. I am talking everything that went into making us a Democratic Republic and the Free Enterprise System.

That is a great idea. Isn't that the way the school system was in the 30's? Or do you mean to amplify from what the older system offered? The older system was better teaching the Constitution and etc of the Country. But the older school system was not trying to replace of government with Communism either. They understood that success was through learning, hard work and smart choices. Now we have to design gov / private programs that encourage students to further a career in STEM careers.

Not necessarily, I think Democrat Tammy Duckworth is in office now and look at this item from her past..... "In 2009, two Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs employees at the Anna Veteran's Home in Union County filed a lawsuit against Duckworth. The lawsuit alleged that Duckworth wrongfully terminated one employee and threatened and intimidated another for bringing reports of abuse and misconduct of veterans when she was head of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs."

Veteran's seem as divided as any other group. We should be represented, but not to the exclusion of other groups. Too much of one perspective is harmful, even when it's us.
So yes to veteran office holders, just not exclusively veteran's.
