Ok the el paso shooter was definitely a white supremacy believer. He was also a radical environmentalist and supported universal healthcare and universal basic income as seen in his manifesto. So, not your typical republican. The dayton shooter was a self professed democratic socialist. Most of his victims were black so I’d say he might have had some white supremacy leanings too.

I don't know if we can say a lot yet about the Dayton guy. The fact that he shot and killed his sister makes me think there may have been something non-political going on there.
The El Paso guy's manifesto primarily focused on anti-immigration reasoning. I don't think (and hope) that white supremacists in general are not typical Republicans.

Not saying typical people from either side are uber racists. I am just making a point that his views do not put him neatly into the extreme right. Both of these people were seriously off their nut. We need state run mental hospitals again. Maybe this time with better oversight so there isn’t abuse of patients.

MSgt (Join to see) - You have to explain to Kevin the process of radicalization is a process that pushes a mentally stable person to mental instability and acceptance of irrational thought processes. I don't think Kevin understands that part yet. White Supremicism might be at fault for the radicalization in this case but can we say that every white supramacist is mentally unstable and capable of shooting a Walmart of unarmed people? I really don't think that is the case and I think Kevin is taking a Janet Reno leap of logic here that leads to extremism on the Left with Law Enforcement.

SFC Pete Kain To be clear, acting on white supremacist ideology is a major cause of domestic terrorism on the US today.

Bootyguage says that, "systemic racism is a white problem." Uh oh.
During an interview at a black journalist convention, Mayor Buttigieg of South Bend Indiana, said that, "systemic racism is a white problem." Basically, all ...

SFC Pete Kain That person is wrong that all mass shootings stem from white supremacy. A lot of what we classify as a mass shooting is crime related. However, it is a major problem and a major contributor to domestic terrorism.
