This guy had some serious mental health issues and needed help. I think its rather optimistic to expect individuals who are in crisis to self report and seek treatment. As a reminder - not saying it would have prevented this but check in with you battle buddies.

Garza, a decorated Army sergeant who served two tours in Afghanistan, suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and was going through "a mental health crisis," according to media reports. Garza fired 212 rounds in a middle-class west Houston neighborhood, injuring two law enforcement officers and setting a gas station on fire, before being killed by a SWAT team member.

That is the story the rest of it is political BS

The reality is a VET with PTSD lost his mind and did some bad things. 212 rounds fired and only one dead and 6 injured bring up a lot of questions. I also do not see anything about the CCW holder Byron Wilson who drew his hand gun and attempted to engage the shooter. Byron was shot 3 times but is expected to survive.

Back on point the liberal narrative will be all vets are crazy and should be disarmed, that agenda is already being pushed before the body is cold. All we can do is show that the majority of us are honorable, sane ...ish people. As another said on here check on your buddies, talk to your troops, look out for our own, Poseidon knows the civies wont.
