How a Muslim community in Missouri rose from the ashes of an arson attack

We here in America should be secure in our homes and businesses; however, when criminals dare to breech this sacrosanct fortress, fury will be unleashed. After civility is restored, rebuilding must result. When anyone who respects our way of life becomes a neighbor on these shores, we owe them support and help in a day of trouble.

They arose from the ashes like the fabled Phoenix.

We went through something like there here in Columbia, MO - a few hours up the road. Back in the 90s, a member of the mosque here, who also ran a business downtown, was caught funneling money to Al Qaeda. The mosque promptly kicked him out. He was recently officially sentenced in federal court. But every time something like that goes down in the world/community, the city tends to pull together, instead of ostracize. The leaders of the local mosque are pretty active w/ community events here.
