You seem overwrought. I wouldn't classify either Russia or China as a superpower. Neither has an economy sufficient to project power more than a few hundred miles beyond their borders. Yes, both are nuclear powers, but lack the fanaticism needed to commit suicide. Yes, delivering advanced command and control systems to potential adversaries is troubling, but how long would it take them to master such systems or replicate and distribute them in sufficient numbers to have any significant effect on their combat readiness? Ultimately, it appears that Russia's misadventures in the Ukraine is biting them in the ass.

Agreed on the short term time but China has two carriers that are having issues but they are building ten more and I am sure the bugs will be worked out eventually. The story says the Russians have the blueprints to this LHA so it is about time. France made a deal with a bad player. Yes, they refunded the money but now they have the plans. This will save them $$$ in reverse Engineering.

LTC (Join to see) - Build aircraft carriers, China. I got a Virginia class submarine for that ass. A couple three-four of those would eat those lame carriers for breakfast, then take their lunch money.

They would be capable vessels for local actions such as what Russia is doing in Ukraine and conceivably the Baltic States, but if they were to venture further abroad they would be easy prey for NATO navies.
It is curious that the French ever considered this a good idea.
