It was more like the blue lavatory solution in the airline lavatories. It spun round and round then went down into the tank.

With 40+ Republicans not seeking re-election the field was really open for the dems. The power of incumbency was nullified in those races.

The dems had as good a night as they could have hoped for. Their much talked about blue wave was a fantasy concocted by them and pushed by their acolytes in the media.

With the White House and the Senate in GOP control the dems cannot push through any legislation without GOP/Senate support. The president still has the Veto. The president can also push through as many judges as he likes. It isn't talked about a lot in the media but that will be one of his legacies.

They can talk all the impeachment they like. The Senate will not convict/remove him from office so it will be a show for them if they try it. I doubt they will.

This is a dream come true for a Libertarian. I hope we see no legislation for the next 24 months. I'm fine with the split. Plus after today's press conference with the POTUS I know he is not backing down like other Republicans have caved in the past.

After the 2010 census, GOP gerrymandering reduced much of the possibility of Dems ever getting much further than they did yesterday.

LTC (Join to see) - That was no surprise, given where those seats are.
