I would be interested in the results, and would like to compare the costs of the problem (additional storms cost - those directly attributable to climate change) against the costs of ameliorating activities, such as building levies, funding wind and solar, and their associated higher power costs and lower reliability. When we can compare actual costs, we might find that the cheapest solution is to stop building homes and condos on hurricane-prone coasts. Correcting CA mismanagement of reservoir water rules would also help on the wildfire side of things.

I recommend reading Bjorn Lomborg. He and the rest of the Copenhagen Consensus have done an excellent job at counting the costs as well as finding the most cost effective ways to use our resources in the climate and other global areas.
