Thanks for sharing PO1 Tony Holland. At times the Vietnam War seemed to be a war of attrition as body counts were reported to the home public. Unfortunately the war-fight was constrained by us but not by the enemies of VC and NVA . They fought a total war but we fought a limited war in response.
In those circumstance the side fighting the total war tends to be victorious.
