The foreign press doesn't have to follow the same rules as the one from the US do, so they are more free to express themselves MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.

We as a nation are viewed on the same level as they perceive our leaders to be. If they are strong and unwavering so they perceive the nation. The world respects strength and shuns weakness. Look throughout history, when the U.S.A. has had a strong leader the may not like him but they respected him. Continue on most recent history the democratic leaders have been weak and the U.S. have suffered. Carter and Iran, Clinton and Mogadishu, Obama and the Mideast as a whole, and now Biden and Afghanistan. If you are not forceful the other world leaders scorn you and your country, They may not like strong American leader but they respect them and do not wish to upset them. The country looks strong and evincible.
