Yeppers. That flu hit my family pretty hard, killing my grandfather and his mother. Grandfather & grandmother's entire family was seriously ill, including my father. Grandfather had been a very hard working farmer who was building a good life for his family. Upon his death, grandmother was destitute and left with six surviving children.
