He's a delusional, vain, selfish, criminal. At best, he was thrilled with his supporters' actions on 1/6 and sat back watching: doing NOTHING for hours while Capital Police were assaulted, the Capital was ransacked, and calls to "hang" his Vice-President rang out. He failed to protect the people and the Constitution from attack. Had they found the VP, or several of the top democrats, who knows what would have happened. At worst, he's a traitor. He violated his oath of office and directed an exhaustive effort to try anything to overturn the legitimate election results. When all those legal and coercive moves failed, he loaded a gun (armed mob) and pointed it at the Congress, in hopes that he'd either convince VP Pence to call off the certification, or that his followers would be able to foist / substitute the fake electors on the Nation, during the confusion.

Well, he says a lot of stuff, I think the courts would require a conviction before applying the label of "Insurrectionist.'
