I Drank Animal Shit Coffee in Bali

Just the name would make me shy away.

Supposed to be wonderful but I will pass

The HHC Commander in our Battalion was a very sophisticated guy well educated expensive tastes. he made he own coffee at the Armory. He had a mix called "Blue Hawaiian". He claimed it was made from coffee beans grown in Sumatra. A tree dwelling animal ate the coffee beans and crapped out the undigested coffee bean minus its skin. Locals would gather the beans to be dried, bagged and exported. It was good Coffee! Some of the guys called it "the Captain's Monkey shit coffee". Which is a misnomer or may be not I don't know what else came out with the undigested beans! At any rate just the mention of his coffee raised an eyebrow or two. Even if the story about where it came from is a tall tale it is still a good story! Have some more coffee and meditate tree dwelling animals defecating coffee beans for your brew!
