If The Twilight Zone was Southern

Strange! At least it isn't the land of "minyana", where "minyana" never comes.

I experienced the same sort of thing moving from Hawaii to Colorado. Now Colorado ain't the South, but it ain't New York City either. It's laid back, but nothing like Hawaii. Thus, I found myself like the young lady in the Cattywampus Zone. Indeed, no place, not even the South was a laid back as Hawaii, at least Hawaii of the 1960s. During more recent visits I actually found clocks on display in stores and restaurants. Sad, but all good things must pass...
