They should be ashamed. But they have no shame whatsoever.

While I agree, free speech only protects one from government. Business, private schools, colleges etc. (as long as they are not part of a government entity) are free to do as they please.

If I owned a company, and one's speech is making others feel uncomfortable, under at-will law, that person will be gone after if they refuse to comply.

Addendum: Why isn't the ACLU suing public schools where citizens are being punished for exercising free speech?

Excellent question, Kirk. That right there is the "elephant in the room" that exposes the agenda and hypocrisy of the ACLU, most media outlets and outraged members of congress & 'civic leaders'. Cpl (Join to see)

I don't agree with what the baker did but I still feel his rights were stepped on. http://aclu-co.org/court-rules-bakery-illegally-discriminated-against-gay-couple/

GySgt Bill Smith - A privately owned bakery is not the same thing as a public university.

That whole bakery story really does a great job of illustrating the difference between the left and the right. Faced with an analogous situation, a conservative would just go find another bakery. A liberal is so offended by the opposing viewpoint that it can't be left alone until the issue is forced down the throat of the offending party.
