I was never bullied except by my father. Although I never grew above 5'8", I have the head and upper body of someone much larger (7-3/4 hat size and 52" chest). It often amused me in later life when people would comment that they thought I was much taller until they stood next to me. The bullies chose easier targets. But my father had been a prize fighter and was expert with his fists. He had no fear of me and he taught me to hate bullies. This affected me in later life by imbuing me with a penchant for bullying bullies. I just can't seem to help myself and have always gone straight at them when I caught them bullying someone else. I even do it verbally when I find bullies on the internet harassing anyone who has the temerity to disagree with them (you may have noticed in this forum).
