"Lets drug shipments go by" is a very misleading headline for this article. Having been a part of the SOUTHCOM community for over 11 years I can assure you they are not "letting" them go by. SOUTHCOM has always had problem garnering the focus of resources and capabilities because our national leadership does not focus on the region enough.
