Hottest day on record for Miami? 100 degrees - July 1942. I grew up in Miami if you don't have A/C you're screwed. Not saying climate change is not an issue we should ignore, but it has become a huge industry that feeds itself and impacts everyone...kinda like the weather.
I fear many fled PR following hurricane Maria and are now displaced in Southern Florida. Heat is especially hard on the poor and elderly.

But I Can remember In The 70's Folks Were Calling A mini Ice Age and Mom And Dad Talking and Remembering The 30's Abd Early 40's planting Gardens in Mid March And Still Getting Tomatoes Corn And Green Beans Till October … I Am Going With The Folks At The Farmers Almanac... Its Cyclic And Things Will Turn Up And Out … Back And Forth... All As Mother Nature Said... Its Not Nice To Mess With Mother Nature...
