They have been in need for some time. Before it was ISIS, it was leadership unwilling, or unable to advance the technology, before that it was a heavy-handed dictator that kept all the top-rated stuff to himself.

Unfortunately taking the city back was just the beginning it's the rebuilding that's gonna be hard as well as maintaining order.

I just hope the government of Iraq learned from mistakes in the past. Let's get this reconstruction going right this time. Iraq needs to to be able to do this themselves, I hope that is there objective.
