Increased Privatization of the VA Has Led to Longer Waits and Higher Costs for Taxpayers

This is the opposite of what was predicted

I spend a lot of time each week chasing paperwork down for choice providers who don’t send paperwork back. Many times veterans could have been seen much faster waiting the month or so to seen our clinic than they can be seen by a choice provider by the time all the scheduling and paperwork is retrieved.

Not a fan of the choice program as a provider and many of the patients I see who have went out on it have not been a fan of it either.

Disappointing to say the least.
