Why are we divided about banning books. The practice is shameful. If you don’t like a book, don’t read it.

You know with all of the straight characters in books LGBT kids read not a single book has turned them straight but one book with a non binary character is going to impact their child and turn them away from being straight. Doubt it.

Reminds me when people asks anyone whose lgbt "when did you decide to be_____?" People will be people.

People who say things like that have no idea, and they don’t want to understand it. People are afraid of what they don’t understand and ignorance takes over. When I hear something like that, I turn around and say, when did you decide to be straight?

Find it funny that schools will ban books for gender identity, but thinks graphic novels like Captain Underpants is completely okay until last year.

Stop banning books, teach your children, stop thinking about doing something for "civil sensibilities" while ignoring other forms of literature just because it doesn't have gender identity in it.

It all stems from hatred that’s the long and the short of it right there! Next thing you know they’ll be closing school libraries and burning books on the football field. When they start yelling “Sieg Heil”, then you know we’re in trouble.
