This will keep you in better shape then most PT programs. I used to stay fit through dancing (different style) and water aerobics and on weekends while in Korea o used to go rappelling off the mountains, which I absolutely loved doing, because Unit PT just wasn’t enough to keep me in the shape I needed to be in. I did that pretty much most of my career until probably the last couple years when I sorted getting really sick and then decided it was best to retire because I didn’t want anyone having to take up my slack when I couldn’t do some things anymore I felt I needed to; I was comparing myself to my 19-21 year old troops mostly male and I hate being defeated which was how I felt when my body just couldn’t keep up with them anymore in PT despite passing my APFT still in excruciating pain. I realize now that I set unrealistic goals for myself at that time with having failing health but I wouldn’t believe anyone then that told me any different.
