Inmate posed as VA employee to scam ailing vets out of thousands

These guys are lower than whale feces at the ocean bottom.

This could have, and should have, been stopped before the first person was ripped off. Jails and prisons monitor out-going phone calls every day. There is no reason this inmate should have been able to steal $8,000 except law enforcement didn't do their damn job.
