Inside the Trump Administration’s Internal War Over the VA

Here is a rather long, but comprehensive, article on the current turmoil surrounding the VA. What is scary about this is the President has sided with, and allowed, the Koch Bros and their organization formulate plans to basically dismantle the VA thus going back on some of his campaign promises to veterans with regards to the VA and our healthcare. Along with hand picked politicians as well as people from the White House that have been placed as appointees in the VA Secretary Shulkin has been made the target as one who should resign or be fired. The cover for this is his indiscretions over he trip overseas. They have already forced out one top level manager and now have the knives out for the "big fish". There is also a group on the internet that regularly attacks the VA and Shulkin called "The VA is Lying" which post articles from Breitbart as well as posts from what could very well be Russian actors. Their introduction to the group is: "..Our VA is LYING group attracts a smarter and LESS alcohol ravaged membership than most other vet groups. If you are low IQ or dumbfounded by alcohol abuse, you probably won't like this group. Open to vets and supporters of Vets. Invite your friends!" They claim 25,000 + members.
