I was thinking something similar - it is good there are disagreements and discussion around them.

Right because a "yes man" is the definition of someone who doesn't buy into your "line of bs." Wait....what?

I don't believe that this is anything to be concerned about. If anyone thinks that people in Washington, and especially the White House, don't butt heads they're sorely mistaken. Task and Purpose has, from what I've seen, shown itself to possess a left leaning ideology, so of course they'd jump all over this. Gen McMaster has a reputation for going against the grain and not being afraid to call someone out if he thinks they're wrong. I'm sure Pres. Trump knew that before he appointed him.

SSG (Join to see) - You made the claim that the two are clashing because Trump is a reality tv star - I was just pointing out he's also a successful businessman and made no connection to him being elected. My opinion the clash is because of two men with different opinions, regardless of their background. That's a good thing.
And Kanye West can certainly run if he wants to. Getting elected is another thing.

SGT Kevin Berman - My point was to illustrate the contrast as a matter of competence. While real estate and reality tv can be lucrative sources of income excellence in those fields doesn't transfer over to running a country.

Wow! Just when you think you've heard it all. Are you saying that McMasters (a combat Veteran with a Silver Star, 2 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart) was essentially extorted into accepting the job as National Security Advisor? You're tell me a man who lived a life essentially as a bad ass succumbed to Trump's will to force him into a post he doesn't want? Do you really think he couldn't find another higher paying job had he decided to retire?
My God where do people come up with this crap? Please, cite the article...

Easy killer. Read my statement again. It has nothing to do with McMaster finding a job in retirement. You can call it extortion if you want but if the CIC selects an officer for a position what is he going to do? Tell him he doesn't want it? The fact of the matter for all the accolades and qualifications McMasters has he wasn't Trumps first choice. He was at least his third when Robert Harward turned down the position. He didn't want to be associated with that "shit show." I don't need an article to cite it's pretty much common sense and you being a former field grade officer should know that. If a general officer in your chain of command selected you for a position and you said no how long do you think your career would last?

Not Surprising McMaster is a Professional. Maybe the Only One in the Trump Administration.
