Upon taking office, Johnson radically overhauled the government, dismissing nearly every Cabinet member who had not supported both Johnson in the leadership election and the concept of a "no-deal" Brexit. The new, much more right-wing ruling coalition will, however, struggle to pass any notable legislation with just a single-digit majority in Parliament, which means new elections are likely within months.

How in the hell is a "no deal Brexit" an economic disaster for the UK?
The damn EU was trying to extort billions in penalties for leaving their customs union, and are threatening tariffs. WHOOP DE DOO!
The UK is an island nation, and very accustomed to figuring out how to be independent of the continent. I would wager that they'd find a very wiling partner in Trump for a bilateral trade deal, as well as the Commonwealth states. What the EU really fears is that if it doesn't make leaving the EU exceedingly painful, other states may follow suit. Not everyone likes being Germany and France's satellite.
Honestly, I am mildly surprised that the EU has stood for this long. I was sure that the Greece situation was going to result in their ejection for the EU. And they aren't the only ones skirting EU regulations for debt and spending.

The whole BREXIT situation called Mrs. May, the prior PM. We will see if the new PM Johnson stands a chance.
