Instead of funneling our treasure to Ukraine, we should be hardening our grid. And a hundred other domestic priorities. Not that we're paranoid, but. We had an electrician (a real one, not me) make the connections so we can feed the moho generator (8K) into our house during monsoon blackouts. We also had Generac out to give us a quote (whew!) No matter what you do to protect yourself it's expensive and iffy. Solar/battery is time restricted and cloud impaired, fuel choice for IC generators is a crap shoot with government regs as the unknown variable. Propane, city gas, gasoline, diesel, solar, each has its cons.
