Half the police in Afghanistan are addicted to opium anyway. Afghanistan is corrupt and they have smuggling routes into Iran anyway. The Taliban help with this as well. How do you think the Taliban gets their money? Yes, from selling opium that gets turned into heroin. The u.s. and Canadian Market are already flooded with drugs.
