Even with the current and nuke deal with Iran, they get to have a nuclear weapon in about 10 years. Who knows maybe sooner

If by gave, you mean released 4 billion of their assets we had frozen for decades, then sure... that probably was helpful toward reaching a compromise agreement. What isn't helpful though, is congress violating the terms of the deal. If we aren't going to adhere to the deal, why should they?
Republicans attacked this deal because it only delayed Iranian acquisition of a Nuclear weapon for 10-15 years. How is that worse than scrapping the deal and allowing them to build a Nuclear weapon within the next 2-4 years?
That said: "A Russian Foreign Ministry source told RIA news agency that a careful reading of Rouhani’s order showed he was talking only about developing power-supply units for nuclear-powered marine vessels, but not higher-enriched uranium itself, so “strictly speaking” this would not contravene the nuclear deal."
It looks like they are doing a better job adhering to the deal than the US.

correction it was 160 billion dollars and I'm sure some of that money went to fund the rebels in Yemen that fired missiles at our Destroyers
