It's been like a rubber ball. Sounds like Vietnam. A known VC area would be destroyed, the enemy slaughtered, and we weren't gone a couple of days and it was back in the hands of the VC. Go in, repeat. Go in, repeat. Etc. etc.
It was stupid. Lots of lives lost playing the VC's game.
