Absolutely but speaking from a PSYOP perspective, this is perfect for Russia. They didn't have to do much for this to grow legs and take on a life of its own and is literally a win-win. "Putin has tried to weaken democracy and civil society around the world to make Russian authoritarianism more appealing in comparison" Timothy Snyder from Yale writes and if politicians Russia favor win, it makes that transition easier. If they lose or get caught with their hands in the cookie jar, then it bring the legitimacy of democracy into question. It's like the old Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street." All Russia had to do was turn off and on a couple of lights and let America's paranoia do the rest.

Excellent metaphor, we are stuck in a climate where everyone is hoping they can find a scape goat we are just as easy to manipulate as that little neighborhood.

I am far more concerned with the dishonest self serving politicians that will intentionally screw our citizens for their own personal gain or agenda.

"Fake News" a term created by the mainstream media of the United States. The sad reality as that they themselves are the "fake news."

there is a media war going on both sides but youll only hear about the "Russians". I think the most important thing is, through social media, independent news agencies, and another organization I will not mention by name, the TRUTH was reavealed. Literally the truth about what happened to Sanders, a certain person getting the debate questions prior to it occurring, emails that were deleted. So to answer your question I am not concerned by the "fake news" from "Russia" I am concerned by the fake news being reported en masse in our own country.

I think there is bias on both sides. Fake or twisted news stories have always been around. The whole election was rigged as you might recall. However, Russian influence and connection to our president elect is concerning to many in other fields. It is a reality.
