Bottom line, don't let a dose go unused. Our local health department had some no shows, they sent folks to local businesses and were able to find the requisite number of volunteers at the circle K one block over.
One item I may have missed, but don't remember seeing, is that immediate family members of the current groups allowed to get the vaccine, are included to get the vaccine. It doesn't make sense for a first line worker to be protected but not their spouse/significant other. The protected may not get the virus but still may spread it.
