I do not believe that anyone who has the slightest familiarity with "American Gun Culture" would be foolish enough to attempt a coup, bloodless or otherwise. Kind of makes you think the founding fathers had a clue, doesn't it?

SSG(P) (Join to see) - Yes but the Russians and Chinese came from cultures of serfdom and warlords. They just changed the title of their boss from Tsar or Emperor to Chairman.

We come from a culture of "who the hell do you think you are fancy pants? Grumble mumble harrumph SOB thinks he's the boss of me. My people crossed whole damn ocean to tell European Kings to kiss my...." The European nobility were probably glad to get rid of us.

Know what I mean? :)

Maj John Bell - Sir, I know exactly what you mean. My mother came here as an infant in the arms of my grandparents, who ran from the Great Leap Forward under Mao (in fact, my grandfather was offered whatever he wanted if he would stay and use his chemical engineering skills for Mao. He declined and beat feet for the US). My father's side came from England in 1640, and were part of the American Revolution, as I am related to Timothy Matlack, the "Penman of the Declaration of Independence." That defiant and stubborn streak is alive in well in my family to this day.

Today's Sheeple are however, not very different from the serfs of the 19th Century. They fall for whatever is told to them, and act without concern for consequences, so long as they think they are doing something "right."

That they did. That they did. Though I think they would really be incredulous at how things are these days. It is a credit to their crafting of the Constitution that we haven't gone farther off the rails than we have.

Trump is the "outsider." He isn't part of "The Establishment." His election was not foreseen, as The Establishment believed that Hillary would be elected on a wave of angry women, blacks, minorities, etc. This did not happen and they had no contingency plan for this. The 2016 election rocked their world and they are now playing catch-up by having Obama go back to being the Community Agitator. In this case, I think there is something more sinister going on, especially with Valerie Jarrett having moved into Obama's house in D.C. If I were Trump, I would assign Secret Service to surveil the house, note who comes and goes, and find out what is going on. If there is indeed anything that a lot of people think going on, arrest them all on charges of treason and conspiracy.

SSG Robert Webster - Yup, FBI too, although with Comey still at the helm, that might prove to be a gamble. I said Secret Service because they are experienced in investigative work.

He's not really an outsider. He has vast political connections and his idea of 'draining the swamp' is apparently just putting it in charge. Little to nothing of what he has done in office, or what he plans to do in the future, are at-all anti-establishment. Just more unethical.

SPC Jesse Davis - If he's not an outsider, then why are BOTH sides afraid of him? He is a threat tot their current gravy train of money and power/influence.
