Seems to me that for anti-UAV air-defense, good old fashioned anti-aircraft guns would be the option of choice. You're firing a round that costs much more than the target.
Logical next step would be to put air-to-air capabilities on a type of defensive UAV. Most UAVs can't really maneuver in any real radical way, and would be easy targets if they can be found and intercepted.

That's what I thought. Just the training round alone is like 250-350k. Seems like the Phalanx CIWS would be a better, proven, cost effective solution.
