ISIS's Second Comeback: Assessing the Next ISIS Insurgency

The focus of this article is on Syria and Iraq, and the return of IS to this fight yet again. It is no surprise to anyone - the conditions that allowed ISIS to become IS never changed in either country.. and so the cycle continues. What is different this time is the men and material that IS starts with are significantly different than when ISIS was formed. The real question is not what we know will happen next - but how far and how will they engage outside of Syria and Iraq..... where is their real focus and next campaign and how will they fight it.
