Indeed, but with the current plan that allows a cycle to repeat - we will likely not live to see it. Look forward to the day when a real plan for waging the global war is made, with leaders who realize that there is a way to wage war we have not ventured to as of yet with the failures of the past couple years. You can not wage a war with a peacetime structure - nor without a central C2 nor with the resources not focused. We relearned the lessons of one year rotations in Vietnam yet again but we have not learned what Abrams brought to that fight - nor have we learned from the SAS and LRDG how to wage war on an enemy in the desert...
