Well, I am glad no one was killed but flying into much of the Middle East is risky

Color me unconvinced. Two of the belligerents in Syria have shot down civilian airliners in recent years, one just last month. And all of a sudden, the Israelis "almost" shot one down? They is entirely too convenient.
