It Looks Like We Won’t Be Seeing Mattis In The Trump Administration

I just heard that General Petraus is being considered, but there are questions about his extra marital affairs. Everyone has something in their closet. None of those do gooders have any right to make public someone's background unless it is criminal. IMHO

I don't think Gen Petraus is a good pick, as not just the extra marital affairs stuff, but the fact he gave out marked confidential material. I believe if they were going after the old Security of state for breaching security protocol.

I like Gen Mattis, our unit was attached with 1st MARDIV Task Force Tarawa GCE (Ground Combat Element) supporting Combat Engineers for Bridging missions and MSR's/ASR's. I had a Run in with the Gen on the Bridge into Baghdad as Marines were entering into Baghdad. We were finishing fixing the bridge, and had to hold up coalition forces going into the city, just for a little bit until we finished landing the bridge on the other side.We were almost done, and one of the Marines with us came up behind me and asked "The Gen is waiting to cross the Bridge and wants to know when it will be done" I returned with" The Gen can Fu*^ing wait" I herd a voice from behind say " really Chief I can Fu*^ing wait" That was crazy. He just told me to hurry up, and thanked us for what we do. Then 3 months latter down south Iraq were Marines regrouped, he gave all of us a speech and even mentioned us and told us to kill the bad guy's also. That is my General Mattis story and I love that guy.

I was wondering if it's true, after I posted it. Guess it is.
