Well the Bronze star was devalued to the "showed up" medal. Guys who never left the US Embassy compound in Baghdad got it for "being near the sound of explosions" routinely.

You and only you know what you did to earn a given medal. Just because some may have done far less doesn't take away from what you did. A BSM is still a BSM if you know you earned it.
