Jim's U.K. Police Ride-Along

The United States has five times the population of the UK, so actually that would be 500 cops shot dead in comparison to 2300 if we were being honest in comparisons. Further, the country is geographically smaller and so they can fairly easily split up duties like that, firearms officer, taser officer, etc. Last but not least, UK is an Island and seperated by Sea from most smuggling routes, it doesn't have a country like Mexico to share a border with. The funding mechanism the British use to fund and train their Police is also different. Because their Law Enforcement is more universal than ours, easy to be consistent between cities and provinces with the enforcement of gun laws.
